We are seeking experienced, motivated, confident individuals to join our team as a Technical Communications & Pursuits Consultant (TCAC). As a TCAC, you provide strategic and tactical support to help win new local and international business. You actively participate in developing pursuit strategies and overseeing the proposal management process. You author client communications such as proposals, oral presentations, web contents, Analytics and other documents. You work with Business Development Executives and outsource resources in Nigeria. This role includes occasional international travels.


Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:

  • Drives the tactical and strategic communications process for our clients

  • Manage all social media tools and build site presence for services and initiatives (including but not limited to on Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, Pinterest, Instagram and future blog).

  • Integrate social media into marketing campaigns. Act as community manager and voice for the OPT services.

  • Manage electronic communications, create and oversee website sign-up process for new pursuit/clients to sign up for alerts/emails for events, pursuits processes and service milestones.

  • Researches, writes and edits standard and customized pursuit collateral

  • Assist in the development and execution of innovative and creative solutions for special events, programs, promotional campaigns, and social marketing.

  • Facilitates meetings with clients, management of clients pursuit events throughout the pursuit cycle to ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards

  • Create new content and campaigns to highlight events and update content including services, events, and promotions.

  • Track website usage through analytics and create monthly report.

  • Communicate most used content and develop "trending reports".

  • Manage online data collection, data entry, and site analytics.

  • Assist Public Affairs team with various projects and campaigns and create design work consistent with brand image as needed.

  • Live tweet events, festivals, meetings and reply to inquiries about the OPT services. Serves as a liaison between clients, solution development teams and other technical functions






  • Of Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.

  • Of the basic techniques and principles of journalistic and public relations writing.

  • Of the geography and social distribution of clients.

  • Of the methods of preparing public information materials and obtaining their effective release through available media.

  • Of using SPSS or Text Analytics.





  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.

  • To develop a positive presence with social media platforms.

  • To analyze situations quickly accurately and adopt and effective course of action for communicating necessary information effectively and efficiently.




  • Must have high energy level, creativity, and passion for communication.

  • Must have hands-on skills in Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.




  • At least five (5) years of experience in managing multiple social media accounts and platforms.

  • At least four years of business or marketing experience

  • 2 years of experience in utilizing Customer Analytics and high quality internet-based research




  • SPSS and Google Analytics




  • Master’s degree in communications, Marketing or journalism.

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience preferred; past experience in professional services (e.g., technology consulting, management consulting, education) highly desirable

  • Strong business acumen with Exceptional writing and editing skills

  • Strong project management skills, the ability to establish priorities, set and manage schedules, and coordinate multiple projects at one time

  • Highly developed computer skills, including Microsoft suite and Internet-based research

  • Highly developed Data Analytics, including SPSS and Google Analytics skills

  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and multicultural clients
